2024 Spirit of Children Fundraiser for Covenant Children’s
Covenant Children’s is proud to celebrate a milestone partnership with Spirit Halloween with the 15 th annual Spirit of Children fundraiser.
Each year, Spirit Halloween hosts the Spirit of Children fundraiser, with proceeds benefitting Covenant Children’s. Shoppers use a specific coupon to receive a discount and proceeds from that sale go to our hospital.

Covenant Children’s is the only faith-based, licensed, free-standing pediatric hospital in our region. Funds raised from this year’s event will support the art therapy group in our Relational Health Center as well as continue to fund the artists in residence program.
“The funds raised this year will play a pivotal role in enabling us to provide a variety of creative and expressive arts experiences that are vital for the emotional and
developmental support of our children and families,” said Dr. Christine Neugebauer, manager of integrative care. “These contributions help us to continually enhance and replenish the toys and resources that are essential in helping children cope during their hospital stays. Through this support, we are able to offer a more comforting and stimulating environment that aids in the healing process.”
Covenant Children’s has been awarded almost $300,000 from this partnership. Previous funding has allowed us to hire a part-time child life specialist for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, expand our artists in residence program, and create Lindsay’s Playroom.
Each year, Spirit Halloween also hosts a Halloween party for our patients, bringing in costumes for the kids to shop and crafts for them to make. We are grateful for their continued support.
