Covenant Health Supporting the Matador Community

Yesterday was a tragic day in West Texas. First, we want to extend our condolences to the family members to the victims in Matador. Our hearts and prayers are with
the community. We want to thank the first responders, community partners and our staff for their efforts in responding and continuing to care for the victims of this tragedy.
Covenant Health, on behalf of our caregivers, is donating a $20,000 grant for Matador disaster relief to be used by individuals or businesses affected by this tragedy. We anticipate this grant will be designated to a disaster relief organization or organizations next week.
Walter L. Cathey, Covenant Health Regional Chief Executive said “We recognize the significant pain in our region and want to help others. That is our mission, serving as
expressions of God’s healing love and truly living our values of showing compassion to our neighbors in Matador.”
