HWNT Lubbock Announces Inaugural Gala: “Recuérdame” – A Celebration of Culture and Empowerment

The Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT) Lubbock Chapter is thrilled to announce its inaugural gala, themed “Recuérdame,” set to take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM. This premier fundraising event will be held at the Texas Tech Museum, and promises an evening of elegance, cultural celebration, and community impact.

The “Recuérdame” gala is HWNT Lubbock’s key fundraiser to support scholarships starting in Spring 2025. This event reflects our mission to advance women in corporate, public, and civic life through education and development, and our vision to be a leading force for change.

Attendees will enjoy a delightful evening featuring a gourmet dinner, musical entertainment, and a range of interactive activities. The event will include a silent auction with unique items, a vibrant ofrenda (altar) honoring Hispanic heritage, and opportunities to purchase student art, showcasing local talent.

We invite local businesses and community members to take advantage of various sponsorship and table purchase opportunities available for the gala. Your support will not only contribute to a memorable event but will also help us empower women and enrich our community through scholarships and development programs.
For more information about sponsorships, table reservations, and tickets, please contact Laura Betancourt at [email protected], 806-577-9095.
