Lady Raiders announces Big 12 slate

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raiders released their Big 12 schedule on Thursday morning, which will boast 18 games, nine home and nine away, with five contests against new conference foes.

The Lady Raiders begin conference play with a home game against the Houston Cougars on Sunday, Dec. 22, before heading out on the road to Arizona State on Wednesday, Jan. 1 and to Kansas State on Saturday, Jan. 4. Tech returns home for a contest against West Virginia on Wednesday, Jan. 8, then hosts the TCU Horned Frogs a few days later on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Tech goes out to Ames, Iowa for a matchup against the Iowa State Cyclones on Tuesday, Jan. 14, then follows that up with a home game against the BYU Cougars on Saturday, Jan. 18. Tech plays its second game against the Houston Cougars when the team heads to the Fertitta Center on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

The Lady Raiders welcome Oklahoma State for a contest on Saturday, Jan. 25, before going to Lawrence, Kan., for a game versus the Kansas Jayhawks on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Tech opens play in February with an away game against newcomer, Colorado, on Saturday, Feb. 1, then comes back to the United Supermarkets Arena to host the Utah Utes on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

The Lady Raiders go on the road to Fort Worth, Texas for a game at TCU on Saturday, Feb. 8 and then host the Baylor Bears the following Saturday, Feb. 8. Cincinnati will come to Lubbock for a game on Wednesday, Feb. 19, before the Lady Raiders are away for two matchups at UCF on Feb. 22 and at Arizona on Feb. 25. The Lady Raiders close our conference play with a home game against Colorado on Saturday, March 1.
