Lubbock Legend Disappears After 80 Years

Lubbock’s Varsity Bookstore, off University across from Texas Tech, are closing their doors later this year in December. During their final run, the bookstore will have a sale including 40% off clothing, hats, accessories, art supplies and more, 25 % off graduation regalia, and 10% off diploma frames.
Next year in 2023, students will have to rely on alternative book stores to supply them with books and goods.
