Meet the Red Raiders set for Aug. 26

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech football program will host its annual Meet the Red Raiders event on Saturday, Aug. 26, giving fans the opportunity to interact and receive autographs from head coach Joey McGuire and the 2023 edition of the Red Raiders.

The event will run from 2-3 p.m. inside the Sports Performance Center, which is located directly south of Jones AT&T Stadium. Doors will open at 1:45 p.m. at the main entrance to the track side of the Sports Performance Center.

Admission is free for this event and parking will be available in the commuter lot immediately west of Jones AT&T Stadium (see map below). On the contrary, parking will be prohibited in the lot directly east of Jones AT&T Stadium due to the ongoing construction of the south end zone renovation project.

Fans are asked to adhere to a one autograph item per person limit to accommodate all in attendance. Texas Tech will also provide complimentary schedule posters inside the main entrance to the track portion of the Sports Performance Center.

Representatives from the Athletics Ticket Office will be on hand to assist fans with purchasing tickets for the 2023 season. Season tickets are sold out, but single-game tickets are still on sale and can be purchased by calling 806-742-TECH or by visiting TexasTech.com.

The Red Raiders open their season on the road at Wyoming Sept. 2, and then welcome Oregon the following Saturday for their home opener inside Jones AT&T Stadium.
