New Traffic Signal to be Activated at 82nd Street and Quincy Avenue Inbox

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, a new traffic signal will be activated at the intersection of 82nd Street and Quincy Avenue. The signal will reduce delay and increase safety for vehicular traffic turning onto and off of Quincy Avenue. It will also provide safe pedestrian and bicycle crossing of 82nd Street.
City crews will remain on site after the signal is activated to finish any remaining work at the intersection. The City urges motorists to slow down and eliminate distractions in work zones for the safety of everyone on the road.
