Rawls Course selected as host site for Men’s Regional in 2027
LUBBOCK, Texas – The NCAA announced on Wednesday that Texas Tech’s acclaimed Rawls Course has been selected as a host for one of the six NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Regionals for the 2027 season.
The Rawls is already set to be a NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Regional site in 2025, which will be the fourth NCAA event Texas Tech has hosted at the Rawls Course.

The 2027 event will be No. 5 overall that the NCAA has utilized one of the top courses in the nation. The men’s team previously hosted a regional in 2015, while the Women’s Regional was hosted in 2005 and 2017.

The home-course advantage has paid dividends in two of those three hosting opportunities as Greg Sands’ men’s team advanced to the NCAA Championships in 2015 as did JoJo Roberton’s program two years later.
