Red Raider Club Kickoff Luncheon set for Aug. 23

LUBBOCK, Texas – The West Texas community is invited to join Texas Tech Athletics on Aug. 23 when the Red Raider Club hosts its annual Kickoff Luncheon inside Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

The Kickoff Luncheon, sponsored again this year by Reliant and its parent company NRG, will feature head coach Joey McGuire, Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt and others as Texas Tech will celebrate a memorable 2022 campaign while also looking ahead to the Red Raiders’ season opener just more than a week later.

Doors will open at 11:15 a.m. with the program starting around noon inside the main exhibit hall to Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The Goin’ Band from Raiderland as well as the Texas Tech Spirit Squads will both be in attendance to perform prior to the program.

Individual tickets start at $25 per person and can be purchased online here. Reserved tables for eight to sit with either McGuire or Hocutt are priced at $5,000 each, while tables with the remainder of the Texas Tech coaching staff are set at $2,500 each. General reserved tables are also available for $750 per group.
