LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech’s stars of the NFL were on full display during week 13 as Terrence Steele and Jordyn Brooks made starts in the Thursday Night Football game between the Cowboys and Seahawks while Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs traveled to Green Bay for the featured game on Sunday Night Football. Dallas defeated Seattle 41-35 behind 14 unanswered points and the Chiefs lost its contest in a close game that ended in controversy as Kansas City argued for a pass interference call in the final minute.

Jack Anderson, OL, Indianapolis Colts (2017-20)
Anderson was placed on the inactive list before the Colts game against the Titans. The Colts beat the Titans 31-28 in an overtime thriller. The Colts are two games over .500 (7-5) and have climbed to second place in the AFC South.

Jordyn Brooks – LB, Seattle Seahawks (2016-19)
Brooks exited the Seahawks’ Thursday night contest versus the Cowboys in the first half due to an ankle injury and did not return. He recorded one tackle which was a sack for nine yards before his departure. The Seahawks lost the game, 41-35, and dropped to .500 on the season at 6-6.

Davis and the Patriots did not give up a single touchdown, but still fell to the Chargers, 6-0. Davis was featured in all 21 special teams’ snaps. The Patriots’ record is now 2-10.

Sam Eguavoen – LB, New York Jets (2011-14)
Eguavoen saw action in 22 (79 percent) special teams snaps in his game against the Falcons. The Jets losing streak moves to five, losing to the Falcons, 13-8. The Jets are 4-8 and sit in third in the AFC East above the struggling 2-8 Patriots.

Kerry Hyder Jr. – DL, Houston Texans (2009-13)
Hyder was in action for the second week in a row since being activated by the Texans. He saw 11 snaps, eight of which came with the defense while the other three came on special teams. The Texans snapped the Broncos’ five-game winning streak and continue to be the surprise of the AFC as a competitor for a playoff spot at 7-5 this season.

Patrick Mahomes II – QB, Kansas City Chiefs (2014-16)
Mahomes and the Chiefs fell to the Packers on Sunday Night Football, 27-19. Mahomes was 21-of-31 with 210 passing yards and one touchdown in his first visit to the legendary Lambeau Field. Mahomes also had four rushing attempts for 26 yards. The Chiefs’ record falls to 8-4 but remain in the lead of the AFC West.

The Cowboys defeated Seattle, 41-35, thanks to 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. The Cowboys record improves to 9-3, they remain in second place of the NFC East.

Sept. 16: The New York Jets announced on Saturday that LB Sam Egauvoen had been elevated from the practice squad and onto its game day roster to take on the Cowboys. It was his second elevation in as many weeks. He will return to the practice squad unless announced otherwise by the organization. Each practice-squad player can be elevated for a maximum of three regular-season games in the same league year. After this, any subsequent elevation of the player will require the team to add him to their 53-man Active/Inactive list.
Sept. 23: After being elevated from the practice squad and to the active roster each of the first two weeks of the season, the New York Jets announced on Saturday that Sam Eguavoen had been signed to the active 53-man roster in time for the Jets’ week three contest versus the New England Patriots.
