The Matador Club NIL Collective Signs Entire Texas Tech University Football Team to Five-Figure NIL Deals for Second Year in a Row

Lubbock, TX: The Matador Club – an NIL collective led by a group of prestigious Texas Tech alumni, is following through on its promise to empower Texas Tech student-athletes and promote civic involvement by offering the entire Texas Tech football team five-figure NIL deals for the second year in a row.
The Matador Club is continuing to shift the conversation from product-based endorsement deals to community service-driven partnerships. Dating back to July 2022, The Matador Club has signed over 250 student-athletes across the Texas Tech football, softball, baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and track & field teams. The crowdfunded collective requires players to use their name, image, and likeness, as well as online presence and physical time to support local, Lubbock-based nonprofit organizations.
“The unwavering support and contributions from our loyal members are vital to empowering our student-athletes to achieve greatness, both on and off the field.”, said one Matador Club board member. “Our donors’ passion and dedication fuel the Red Raiders’ fighting spirit, ensuring our teams have the necessary resources to compete at the highest level. Together, we are helping launch Texas Tech to the forefront of the NIL landscape by doing things the right way.”
The Matador Club TTU Football Signing Deal:
● Walk-ons to Starters – Five-figure deals offered to 120 student-athletes
● Local Nonprofits Benefit – Student-athletes promote local charities through socialtmedia, in-person appearances, community service, and other avenues.
It’s a win-win: athletes acquire NIL deals, and local charities and non-profits benefit from the volunteer work and expanded awareness of their cause.
