East Meets West: The Painted Works of Bo Tan will open at The Buddy Holly Center Fine Arts Gallery in conjunction with the First Friday Art Trail. As a native of Dailan, China, and graduate of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang, Bo Tan has spent the last four decades honing his skill as a classically trained oil painter. His subject matter runs the gamut from portraiture, to landscapes, to still lives and beyond. Bo has called West Texas home for more than 20 years and frequently welcomes patrons to his studio and gallery space located near downtown Lubbock. Bo regularly exhibits his artwork locally and throughout the state of Texas and has developed a core of avid collectors.
East Meets West: The Painted Works of Bo Tan will be in the Fine Arts Gallery through July 21, 2024.
