Lubbock ISD: Annual Coaches Meeting Tomorrow Features TEXAS WAY Initiative

The Lubbock Independent School District Athletic Department is excited to host Stephen Mackey, spokesperson for the TEXAS WAY initiative, as the keynote speaker at the annual coaches meeting tomorrow. This highly anticipated event underscores our commitment to fostering excellence in athletics and community values within our school district.

Stephen Mackey is renowned for his dynamic and inspiring approach to leadership and character development. As the spokesperson for the TEXAS WAY, a collaborative effort between the Texas High School Coaches Association and the

Texas High School Athletic Directors Association, Mackey brings a wealth of experience and a powerful message that resonates with both coaches and athletes alike.

The TEXAS WAY initiative aims to promote the core values of integrity, discipline, and respect within high school athletics across Texas. “We are thrilled to have Stephen Mackey join us for our annual coaches meeting,” said Executive Director of Athletics Mike Meeks. “His insights and dedication to the TEXAS WAY will undoubtedly inspire our coaches and set a positive tone for the upcoming school year.”
