Matadors 2-1 WIN in their 2023 Season Opener
Your Lubbock Matadors won 2-1 in a chippy match against Brownsville NPSL. Unbelievable saves by Goalkeeper Sam Gomez and two beautiful Goals by Pablo Galietero Diaz and Markus Krogstad.

Your Matadors have back-to-back away fixtures this week. Wednesday, May 24th, against Gallos FC, and May 27th, against Central Texas Coyotes.
Head over to Buffalo Wild Wings (on University) or Two Docs Brewing Co. at 7 pm (for the 7:30 kickoff) to catch these games.
The Matadors play the Fort Worth Vaqueros on June 2nd. This match is sponsored by United Supermarkets and is benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.
We have many events leading up to the match, such as your chance to meet your Matadors on Thursday, May 25th, at Amigos (112 N. University) and United Supermarkets (6313 4th Street and 12815 Indiana Ave.) from 4-6 PM. We will have a Dine to Donate at Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse on June 1st from 5-9 PM, where 20% of your meal will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.
Lastly, Make sure to come out at 5 pm on June 2nd to the Block Party on CR 2300 for great Beer, Food, and more!

This is your chance for your kiddos to train with the Lubbock Matadors! We will host a camp this upcoming week on May 29th through the 31st from 9 am to Noon.
