Updates to the 2026 Pumpkin Trail
Due to the forecasted weather, the City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation’s Pumpkin Trail schedule will differ from previous years’ schedule.
The Pumpkin Trail will not be open on Thursday, October 15. Weather permitting, the Pumpkin Trail will open on Friday, October 16 at 5:00 p.m. and will continue as planned throughout the weekend.
Carved, painted, or decorated pumpkins will still be accepted on Wednesday, October 14 from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Donations can be dropped off on the east side of the Hodges Community Center parking lot where staff will be available to accept them.
