Canyon City Commission To Meet Tuesday

The Canyon City Commission will meet Tuesday at 4:30pm in Chambers at 301 16th Street. The Commission will consider and take appropriate action on an Ordinance amending the Canyon Municipal Code to allow the city to regulate On-Site Sewage Facilities within the City Limits. Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider and take appropriate action on a Resolution; adopting guidelines and criteria pursuant to the Texas Tax Code for Tax Abatement with Reinvestment Zones within the City to provide for a severance clause, repeal of conflicting resolutions and providing an effective date. There will also be a time for Public Comments.
