5 Weeks | June 28-July 31

3 Weeks | June 28-July 17

PBT’s Intensive Summer Program focuses on three core aspects:
- Training: PBT’s ISP features resident instructors and guest artists, many of whom previously danced for Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Classes include ballet technique, repertoire, partnering, modern dance, and more. ISP students attend over 30 hours of training a week.
- Wellness: PBT School includes programs and resources to support each dancer’s health, working closely with experts in the University of Pittsburgh Department of Sports Medicine. PBT School emphasizes injury prevention, mental health, proper nutrition, strengthening, and more. The school’s top priority is ensuring that each student thrives both inside and outside the studio.
- Connection: At PBT School, we encourage a balance between training and relaxation. From our location in the Strip District, one of Pittsburgh’s liveliest neighborhoods, we support our ISP students in building relationships with their community by interacting with their peers while exploring the beautiful city of Pittsburgh and all it has to offer.
PBT School offers housing at Chatham University in Pittsburgh for ISP dancers. More information can be found here.
