Red Raider baseball is looking to bounce back

Lubbock, TexasThe Red Raiders baseball team (29-17, 12-12 Big 12) are on a four game losing streak and are looking to get back in the win column versus UTRGV and a big series upcoming with the Oklahoma Sooners.

The Red Raiders were hot sweeping West Virginia last week as it seemed that they finally found their stride.

This was not the case, with the Red Raiders falling to New Mexico 3-17 and getting swept by the Jayhawks in a three game series.

The Red Raiders have only managed to score eleven runs in the last four games, averaging a mere 2.75 runs per game while allowing 9.75 runs per game.

The Red Raiders are currently seventh in the Big 12 conference with 10 games left in the season.

The good news for the Red Raiders is that six of their next seven games are against Big 12 opponents.

The Red Raiders need to find their bats as the season ends and the tournament begins.
