LUBBOCK, Texas – Of the eight Red Raiders on active 53-man rosters, just four saw action on the field in week 11 of the NFL season. Jack Anderson (Colts) and Cody Davis (Patriots) both enjoyed their bye weeks while Sam Eguavoen (Jets) and Broderick Washington (Ravens) were placed on their respective team’s inactive lists on game day.
Jack Anderson, OL, Indianapolis Colts (2017-20)  
Anderson and the Colts had their bye week in week 11 of the NFL season. With the bye the Colts record stands at 5-5.

Jordyn Brooks – LB, Seattle Seahawks (2016-19)  
Brooks and the Seahawks narrowly fell to the Rams, 17-16, missing on a 55-yard game-winning field attempt in the final seconds of the contest. Brooks recorded three tackles, one of which was a solo stop. The Seahawks are now 6-4 and sit in second place in the NFC West.

Sam Eguavoen – LB, New York Jets (2011-14)    
Eguavoen was designated to the Jet’s seven-man inactive list on game day prior to its afternoon kick-off against Buffalo. The Jets fell to the Bills, 32-6, marking their third-straight loss, dropping to 4-6.

Patrick Mahomes II – QB, Kansas City Chiefs (2014-16)
Mahomes and the Chiefs were defeated by the Eagles 21-17 in the Super Bowl LVII rematch on Monday night football. Mahomes completed 24 of his 43 attempts for 177 yards and two touchdowns. He was intercepted once and sacked once. Mahomes also rushed for 38 yards on six carries, including a long rush of 14 yards. With the loss, the Chiefs dropped to 7-3 but still lead the AFC West.

Terence Steele – OL, Dallas Cowboys (2016-19)
Steele played in 100 percent of the 72 offensive plays in the Cowboys 33-10 victory over the Panthers. The Cowboy’s record is now 7-3; they are in second place in the NFC East trailing division leader Philadelphia who is 9-1.

Broderick Washington Jr. – DL, Baltimore Ravens (2016-19)    
Washington was placed on the inactive list prior to the Ravens’ Thursday night game against the Bengals after not being on the injury report and missed his first game since Oct. 24, 2021. The Ravens went on to beat their divisional foe 34-20. They lead the AFC North with a record of 8-3.

Tyree Wilson – DE, Las Vegas Raiders (2020-22)   
Wilson recorded two tackles in the Raiders’ 20-13 loss to the Dolphins. Wilson was featured in 19 total defensive plays accounting for 27 percent of the total defensive snaps. The Raiders record falls below .500 to 5-6.

Sept. 5: WR Antoine Wesley was released from the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad.
Sept. 11: The New York Jets announced less than four hours prior to kick-off on Monday night that LB Sam Egauvoen had been elevated from the practice squad and onto its Monday night roster. He will return to the practice squad unless announced otherwise by the organization.
Sept. 12: The Indianapolis Colts announced it signed OL Jack Anderson to its practice squad. Two days later it was announced he would be designated to the practice squad injured list.
Sept. 16: The New York Jets announced on Saturday that LB Sam Egauvoen had been elevated from the practice squad and onto its game day roster to take on the Cowboys. It was his second elevation in as many weeks. He will return to the practice squad unless announced otherwise by the organization. Each practice-squad player can be elevated for a maximum of three regular-season games in the same league year. After this, any subsequent elevation of the player will require the team to add him to their 53-man Active/Inactive list.
Sept. 23: After being elevated from the practice squad and to the active roster each of the first two weeks of the season, the New York Jets announced on Saturday that Sam Eguavoen had been signed to the active 53-man roster in time for the Jets’ week three contest versus the New England Patriots.
Sept. 29: The Miami Dolphins announced it has placed Erik Ezukanma on the Reserve/non-football injury list.
Oct. 7: The San Francisco 49ers announced it released Kerry Hyder Jr.
Oct. 10: The Houston Texas announced it signed Kerry Hyder Jr. to its practice squad.
Oct. 17: The Indianapolis Colts announced Jack Anderson, who was previously injured, was restored to the practice squad.
Oct. 21: The New England Patriots announced that it activated Cody Davis from the physically unable to perform list.
Oct. 21: The Seattle Seahawks announced it elevated SaRodorick Thompson from the practice squad and onto its gameday roster for the Seahawks Oct. 23 contest versus the Cardinals. Is the first elevation of a maximum of three elevations that organizations are permitted to make for players on practice squads during the regular season. Thompson will revert to the practice squad after the game.
