2022 PRO BOWL ROSTERS ANNOUNCED
Jakeem Grant Career Pro Bowls: 1st
Grant was obtained by the Bears Oct. 5 in a trade with the Dolphins. In nine games, he’s averaged 16.3 yards on 15 punt returns with one touchdown and 23.0 yards on two kickoff returns, and caught nine passes for 139 yards and two TDs.
Grant’s 97-yard punt return touchdown last Sunday night in Green Bay was the NFL’s first punt return TD of the season and the longest punt return TD in Bears history, eclipsing Johnny Bailey’s 95-yarder Dec. 29, 1990 against the Chiefs.
Grant was selected as a starter on the NFC team.
Patrick Mahomes Career Pro Bowls: 4th
It marks a fourth-consecutive spot on the Pro Bowl roster for Mahomes, who has thrown for 4,052 yards and 30 touchdowns this season. The 2018 NFL MVP joined Peyton Manning as the only two players in NFL history to throw for 25+ touchdowns and 4,000+ yards in four of their first five seasons as a professional, and keep in mind that Mahomes only played in one game during his rookie year.
The Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022 in Las Vegas, exactly a week before the Super Bowl is held in Los Angeles.
