Texas Tech Announces Advanced Sellout of Colorado Game

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech announced Thursday it has officially sold out of its primary ticket inventory for the Nov. 9 home contest against Colorado at Jones AT&T Stadium.

It is the second advanced sellout already this season for the Red Raiders, who had a full 60,229 fans on hand this past weekend to watch Texas Tech open its season with a victory over Abilene Christian. The Red Raiders previously announced this summer a sellout of season tickets for a second-consecutive year.

Tickets for the Colorado game can still be purchased via SeatGeek, the official secondary ticket provider of Texas Tech Athletics, where there is currently less than 300 listings available for the Buffaloes’ return to Jones AT&T Stadium as a Big 12 member.

In addition to the Colorado game, Texas Tech has limited inventory remaining for its next three home contests against North Texas, Arizona State and Cincinnati. The Red Raiders will follow this weekend’s trip to Washington State with three-consecutive home games, wrapping up non-conference play against the Mean Green on Sept. 14 before opening the Big 12 schedule with both Arizona State on Sept. 21 and Cincinnati on Sept. 28.

Single-game tickets for each of Texas Tech’s other five home dates are still on sale through the Athletic Ticket Office. Tickets can be purchased at any time via TexasTech.com or by calling 806-742-TECH during normal business hours.

As a reminder, all football tickets remain 100 percent mobile only, including in premium areas. Texas Tech has introduced a new “tap and go” mobile ticketing system this season to assist fans with quick entry each gameday. Texas Tech will no longer accept screenshots of mobile tickets as QR codes have been removed from all mobile tickets. Instead, fans will place their downloaded mobile ticket near scanners that will identify each mobile ticket wirelessly.

Kickoff this Saturday between the Red Raiders and Washington State is slated for 9 p.m. CT with television coverage provided nationally on FOX as well as through the Texas Tech Sports Network.
