Texas is the place to be for playoff sports

Lubbock, Texas – Are you a fan of Texas Sports? If so, you’re in for one heck of a ride over the next few weeks.

Just months ago, the Texas Rangers brought home their first ever world series to the great state of Texas.

If you’re a basketball or hockey fan, then you may have noticed that the Dallas Stars and the Dallas Mavericks are both competing in the playoffs in their respective sport.

The best team in the Western Conference and the second best team in hockey is taking on the Golden Vegas Knights in a rematch of last year’s Western Conference finals.

The Knights got the best of the Stars last season, beating them in six games advancing to the stanley cup and eventually winning it all.

Game one took place Monday with the Knights narrowly beating the Stars 4-3 in three hard fought periods.

Game two will take place today, at 8:30 pm, at the American Airlines Center.

The Dallas Mavericks finished out the season on a high note, going 7-3 in their last ten games.

Behind Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, the pair led the Mavericks to the NO.5 seed to face the NO.4 Clippers in round one.

The Mavs took a tough loss in game one, losing 97-109.

However, the Mavericks bounced back taking game two 96-93 behind Lukas masterful 32 point game performance.

Game three will take place April 26th, at 7:00 pm at the American Airlines center.

Don’t miss out on the action as the Stars and Mavericks fight to win it all.
