Broadway Festivals Announces 2023 Parade Winners

The 33^rd Annual 4th on Broadway Bolton Oil Parade, themed “United We Sing” has made its way from Avenue M on Broadway east, and into Mackenzie Park. Winners for 2023 are as follows:

  Commercial:

1^st place:     One Guy from Italy (University) with Rampage Wrestling

2^nd place:    Grassano Property Management

3^rd place:       Jarvis Metals Recycling

Non-commercial:

1^st place:   (tie) Ancil “AL” White VFW Post 2466 AND Women Veterans of America Chapter 53

2^nd place:   Lubbock State Supported Living Center

3^rd place:  Lubbock High Cheer

Cash prizes were awarded in both the non-commercial and commercial categories as follows: 1st Place – $500 and automatic free entry into the 2023 parade; 2^nd Place – $250; 3^rd Place – $125.

Judges this year were members of the Fourth on Broadway steering committee. Entries were judged on adherence to the theme, use of color and patriotic decorating, use of music, and group spirit and participation.

2022 Winners 

Commercial:  1^st place – Jarvis Metals Recycling; 2^nd place – Bolton Oil;

3^rd place – Brookdale Remington Park

Non-commercial:  1^st place – Revolution Elite Dance; 2^nd place – Raices Compania de Danza; 3^rd place: Lubbock High School Cheer

2021 Winners 

Commercial:  1^st place – WesTech Plumbing; 2^nd place – Jarvis Metals Recycling

Non-commercial:  1^st place – Literacy Lubbock; 2^nd place – Alzheimer’s Association

2019 Winners

Commercial: 1^st place – American Postal Workers Union #952; 2^nd place – Covenant Children’s; 3^rd place – Latino Lubbock Magazine/Los Hermanos Familia

Non-Commercial: 1^st place – Filipino American Association; 2^nd place – Roosevelt High School Cheer; 3^rd place – Lubbock ISD combined bands
