TSA to Discuss and Demonstrate How to Properly Pack, Declare and Travel with Firearms in Checked Luggage

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will host a media availability on Wednesday, February 28 at the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport to demonstrate how to pack and travel with a firearm and will discuss/demonstrate the increase of prohibited items found in travelers’ carry-on luggage during airport security screening operations. Additionally, TSA will provide travel tips in preparation of Spring Break travel season and provide video opportunity at airport security checkpoint.
