Benny Guerrero Named Grand Marshall of 2023 Veterans Parade of Lubbock

This year, the Veterans Parade Committee has named Benny Guerrero as the 2023 Parade Grand Marshall!

Currently, he is the Chief of Staff for Lubbock VFW Post 2466 and is an All-American Commander for Post and District. He was a member of the VFW National VFW Legislative Committee and contributed to the passage of the Pact Act. He is currently the Chairman of the City of Lubbock Veterans Advisory Committee and is a candidate for Junior Vice Commander for Texas VFW.

Please join us for the 8th Veteran’s Day Parade in Lubbock, Texas. The Veteran’s Day Parade is designed to pay tribute to all veterans who have served in Lubbock and surrounding communities.

The 2023 theme is: “Generations of Patriotism” – Celebrating the numerous generations and families who continue to serve our country with dignity and pride!

Participants are encouraged to pay tribute to veterans and all who have served the community. Veterans, their family members, marching bands, floats, etc., are encouraged to be included.
