Construction to Close Upland Avenue at 26th Street Beginning Thursday

Standard road signs, digital flashing arrows and traffic cones direct all traffic into the left lane on a road construction site.
On Thursday, September 29, 2022, Upland Avenue at 26th Street will be closed as the City of Lubbock begins street construction in that area.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible, and to use extreme caution while driving in the construction.
The project is expected to be complete in mid-October, construction and weather permitting.
