University Avenue Lane Closures to Begin Monday

Beginning Monday, November 7, two southbound lanes of University Avenue will be closed at 82nd Street to safely perform underground utility work. The work is scheduled to take three days, weather permitting. Traffic Management staff will monitor the area and adjust signal timing, however, traffic at the intersection should expect congestion and delays, especially during afternoon peak hours.
The City urges motorists to use an alternate route if possible, eliminate distractions, and plan for extra travel time when driving through the area.
