Texas Tech-Tarleton State reaches sellout status

LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech announced its third advanced sellout of the 2023 season Thursday as Red Raider fans have purchased the entire primary ticket inventory for the Sept. 16 non-conference finale versus Tarleton State.

Texas Tech will now have a sold-out crowd on hand for each of its first three home games of the season against Oregon on Sept. 9, Tarleton State a week later and then the Big 12 home opener versus Houston on Sept. 30. Texas Tech has also sold out of its season ticket allotment after 31,649 were purchased for the 2023 season.

For fans wishing to purchase through Texas Tech, tickets are moving quickly for the remaining three home games versus Kansas State on Oct. 14, TCU on Nov. 2 and UCF on Nov. 18. Single-game tickets are priced at $35 for both the Kansas State and UCF games and then $50 for the Thursday night showdown with TCU.

Texas Tech will run a special Labor Day promo this weekend for Kansas State tickets, which will drop to $30 a seat beginning Friday and running through Monday. Fans can purchase tickets for the K-State game online at TexasTech.com by using the promotion code LaborDay23. This promotion is not available to ticket resellers.

Texas Tech’s single-game sellouts for Oregon and Houston as well as its season ticket sellout does not include roughly 12,000 seats reserved for its student body, which encompasses the majority of the lower bowl of the east side of Jones AT&T Stadium.
