YWCA to Host 15th Annual Father Daughter Dance

The YWCA’s Father & Daughter Dance is an annual event focusing on the special bond between fathers and daughters. In its fifteenth year, this event gives girls of all ages an opportunity to feel like a princess while creating great memories with their father.

This year, the event will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at the Texas Tech Frazier Alumni Pavilion in Lubbock. Event festivities include music, dancing and photo opportunities. Sweets, snacks and beverages will be served.

Girls are invited to attend with their father or other adult father figure. Tickets are limited and can be purchased online at ywcalubbock.ejoinme.org/FDD2024 or in person (cash only), during normal business hours, at the YWCA’s Sun n’ Fun at 6204 Elgin Avenue. Tickets are $30 per father/daughter pair and $10 per additional child.

The YWCA of Lubbock cares for more than 2,000 area children each day through preschool and YWCAre after-school programs. Each year, the YWCA’s women’s health division also navigates the care of more than 1100 women seeking help with breast and cervical cancer screening. We do this and much more because the YWCA is on a Mission.
