Lubbock Mayor, City Council to Offer Media Availability After Regular Council Meetings

Beginning at the next regularly scheduled Lubbock City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 9, the Mayor and various members of the Lubbock City Council will host media availabilities after the conclusion of the meetings.
“We want to stress to our media partners that we’re available to answer all the questions they may have,” said Mayor Tray Payne. “This seems like a good way to make sure we’re easily accessible.”
Media availabilities will take place in the Executive Conference Room next to the Council Chambers after the City Council meetings at Citizens Tower, located at 1314 Avenue K.
Regular City Council meetings will begin at 2:00 p.m. starting August 9, with occasional work sessions starting prior to the meetings.
